Birnie Team help Santa renew his Red-Sleigh Assurance!

Having worked with many fantastic, high-profile brands over 2022, the team at Birnie Consultancy was ecstatic to get the chance to once again work with one of their most well-known customers!

Every few years, due to Arctic law Santa and his Elves have to be recertified under the ‘red-sleigh’ assurance scheme. This scheme ensures that Santa’s nine reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder, Blixem, and of course Rudolph have the best possible living conditions and have all the proper vaccinations and paperwork for their round-the-world trip.

Managed by animal welfare export Dr. Iain Maguire this important project used the entire team’s skills. Our PRINCE 2 qualified Business Development Manager Owen Lucas ensured that all the correct paperwork was in order (as well as their all-important international passports!), while Senior Consultant Dr. Ryan Law, who also owns and operates his own animal nutrition company, Anupro reviewed the effectiveness of the diet plan which he developed last year and made minor amendments ensuring they have the proper energy stores to make the trip on Christmas eve!

While all this was happening, Birnie Manager Ashley Hassin was inspecting the reindeer’s stables to ensure the living space and water provisions met standards while General Manager Dr. Jonathan Birnie was conducting a seminar for the stable Elves on current best practice on carbon mitigation methods for reindeer herds.

Of course, as always the North Pole Reindeer Stables passed inspection, with Santa once more having nothing but praise for the team

“After Birnie Consultancy’s help last year my team of reindeer had their best ever trip around the world, with a recovery time that took much less time than usual. As you can appreciate at this busy time of the year it’s not ideal for our Red-Sleigh inspection so I was only too happy to ask for their help once again.

“As always, they were easy to work with, did a great job and I look forward to working with them again!”

The team from Birnie Consultancy would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
