Have your say: Agri Business/Food Survey

As part of Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council’s Agricultural Strategy consultation, they are asking Agri Businesses to fill in a survey which will be valuable in developing the strategy while providing an opportunity for input, leading to the development of credible, realistic recommendations which will address opportunities and challenges for the industry in the area.

Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council has the 5th largest amount of farmed hectares in the province, and is the first to commission a strategy of this kind which will set the direction for agriculture, agri-food, agri-business and agri-tech in the borough for years to come.

Designed to work alongside the upcoming Green Growth & the Independent Strategic Review of the Northern Ireland Agri-Food Sector, the strategy will contain recommendations which will help the Borough’s underpinning industry prepare for the future.

Birnie Consultancy have been pleased to partner with the Council in this work, developing the strategy along with a thorough overview and analysis of the Agriculture industry in the area.

Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council’s Agriculture Strategy is expected to be released in the Autumn.
